Assignment Overview

• Zanesville, Ohio 43701
• 13-week W-2 travel contract; 3 openings
• 7 p.m.-7:30 a.m.; weekend and holiday rotation. Rare call requests are possible; additional standby/callback compensation must be confirmed before an offer. Typically every third weekend, subject to staffing.
• 36 expected paid hours per week. The facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week assignment; estimated weekly pay reflects paid hours worked.
• Target start: December 7, 2026. Earlier starts are limited to returning travelers within nine months and require facility confirmation.

Your Work

Bring focused assessment and a steady clinical presence to patients with changing cardiac-care needs. Work with the clinical team, communicate clearly and help patients understand each step of care. This assignment offers a chance to combine technical nursing skills with the patient connections and problem-solving that make the work rewarding.

Provide cardiac step-down nursing care, assess and monitor patients, administer treatments, coordinate care and document in Epic. Float to appropriate medical/surgical units when needed.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license before submission.
• At least three years of current or recent hospital medical/surgical and telemetry or step-down nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Epic EMR proficiency and independent telemetry interpretation required; competency is assessed at onboarding.
• Ability to float to other appropriate hospital units within demonstrated competency.
• Current ACLS certification.
• At least three years of cardiac step-down experience, including open-heart recovery, cardiac drips and post-catheterization care.
• Comfort caring for ventilated patients when required.
