Assignment Overview
- Carbondale, Illinois 62901
- 13-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
- Three 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend and every other holiday.
- 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- Target start: October 28, 2026, pending facility confirmation.
Your Work
Bring your nursing skills to the variety of adult medical and surgical care. Stay alert to changing needs, coordinate with the nursing team and help patients and families understand each step toward recovery.
Care for medical and surgical patients, including stroke, postoperative, wound-care, dialysis, COPD and comfort-care populations. Monitor treatments, educate patients and coordinate care.
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Current CPR/BLS and NIHSS.
- Stroke-care competency and ability to manage a varied medical/surgical patient population.
