Your Work
Be part of a pivotal moment for patients and families. Bring attentive assessment, clear communication and a steady clinical presence to labor and delivery, adapting as needs change and coordinating with the care team. This assignment is an opportunity to combine skilled bedside care with the personal connection that makes maternity nursing meaningful.
Provide labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn care, with flexibility to float to other units and care for progressive-care overflow. Document in Cerner.
Requirements
- Vermont RN license or qualifying compact multistate license, confirmed upon acceptance.
- At least five years of nursing experience.
- Attend required department quarterly education sessions.
- Personal transportation strongly recommended.
- Current BLS, PALS, NRP and AWHONN credentials.
