Assignment Overview
- Zanesville, Ohio 43701
- 13-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
- 7 p.m.-7:30 a.m.; weekend and holiday rotation. No scheduled call requirement stated. Every other weekend.
- 36 expected paid hours per week. The facility may cancel up to 36 hours during the 13-week assignment; estimated weekly pay reflects paid hours worked.
- Target start: November 16, 2026, pending facility confirmation.
Your Work
Bring attentive bedside nursing to patients whose breathing and recovery need close observation. Recognize changes, coordinate with the clinical team and help patients and families understand their care. This assignment combines assessment, practical problem-solving and the reassuring presence of a nurse through each stage of recovery.
Provide 3 East respiratory medical/surgical nursing care, assess and monitor patients, administer treatments, coordinate care and document in Epic. Float to appropriate medical/surgical units when needed.
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license before submission.
- At least three years of current or recent hospital medical/surgical and telemetry or step-down nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Epic EMR proficiency and independent telemetry interpretation required; competency is assessed at onboarding.
- Ability to float to other appropriate hospital units within demonstrated competency.
