Assignment Overview

• Hilo, Hawaii 96720
• 26-week W-2 contract; 1 opening
• Monday–Friday days, 7:30 a.m.–4 p.m.; state and federal holiday coverage as needed.
• Paid weekly hours and the final schedule must be confirmed before an offer. No weekly earnings or guaranteed hours are promised.
• Target start: October 26, 2026, pending facility confirmation.

Your Work

Help patients make progress toward the activities that matter to them. This hands-on role combines clinical problem-solving, individualized care and patient education, with the satisfaction of supporting greater function and independence.

Evaluate and re-evaluate adult rehabilitation patients, develop and update occupational therapy plans, manage a caseload and support functional recovery.

Requirements

• At least two years of adult outpatient and acute rehabilitation experience.
• Active Hawaii occupational therapist license by start.
• Current American Red Cross BLS.
• Maintain the applicable Hawaii professional license by assignment start.
• Complete required employee-health clearance and arrive Thursday before the Monday start for the Friday appointment.

Compensation details

Regular-hours pay: $47.66–$50.33/hour in taxable W-2 wages*
