Assignment Overview

• 13-week W-2 travel contract; 1 opening
• Four 9-hour day shifts weekly plus weekend call rotation.
• 36 guaranteed regular hours per week.
• Target start: October 26, 2026, pending facility confirmation.
• Call is required. Standby and callback compensation is additional to the advertised pay.

Your Work

Help patients move from a procedure into the next stage of recovery. Bring close observation, timely assessment and reassuring communication to the bedside as needs change. This assignment combines focused recovery nursing with the teamwork and patient connections that make perioperative care meaningful.

Provide ambulatory-surgery and post-anesthesia recovery nursing, assess patients, administer treatments and coordinate safe transitions.

Requirements

• At least two years of ASU/PACU or critical-care experience.
• Active Maine or qualifying multistate RN license; current BLS, ACLS and PALS.

Pay and Benefits

Taxable W-2 hourly pay: $20.00–$22.80.
