SHIFT: Days with Call Rotation

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology.

2. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State Department of Health.

3. Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty.

4. Displays a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics

5. Must maintain continuing education and meet the required continuing education credits by the ARRT

6. Must maintain continuing education and have current BLS.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and under the guidance of the radiologist, performs radiographic procedures to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries. The Radiologic Technologist works effectively with patients and patients families, consults other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care and performance improvement activities. The technologist is responsible for the safe operation of a variety of equipment to produce images of the patients body for diagnostic purposes. The technologist is responsible for providing exposure in the modality of Computed Tomography to the Radiologic Technologist program students and may provide instructions to interns. Interviews patients, explain procedures, performs venipuncture and assists in positioning the patient for procedures. Reviews test results with radiologists/referring physicians.

Relevant experience: at least 2 years.

Required credentials: General Certifications(ACLS,BLS/BCLS,PALS,NRP).

*Pay: $35.38–$42.46 per hour. Actual compensation will vary based on the assignment, schedule, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. For eligible travelers, total compensation may include both taxable W-2 wages and separate travel reimbursements under Domnovate Healthcare’s travel reimbursement policy. Travel reimbursement eligibility and amounts are determined independently based on the employee’s circumstances, assignment location, and applicable reimbursement guidelines.
