Our Client is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a permanent opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a direct-hire position employed by Our Client. The source describes a 73-bed skilled nursing facility offering rehabilitation after a hospital stay. Contribute to treatment that helps people work toward a safe return home and greater participation in everyday activities. Your contribution

Implement the treatment plan established by the supervising occupational therapist. Support daily living skills, functional activities, appropriate adaptive strategies and other planned interventions within your authorized scope. Observe each person’s response, document progress and communicate relevant changes to the supervising occupational therapist. Help patients and caregivers practice techniques that support safe participation in daily activities.

Collaborate with the rehabilitation and care team so treatment goals connect with each person’s daily activities. Document interventions, observations and progress accurately and promptly, communicate relevant changes, and follow professional standards, safety practices and applicable requirements. The aim is thoughtful, coordinated care that respects each person’s abilities, priorities and dignity.

Schedule and employment

• Permanent, on-site direct-hire opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
• 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday. The specific work pattern and start date will be confirmed during hiring.

What you bring

• New Mexico Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure or eligibility, with required licensure completed before practice.
• Appropriate accredited education and clinical qualifications for occupational therapy assistant practice.
• Sound clinical reasoning, clear communication and a patient-centered approach.
• The ability to implement and document care under an occupational therapist’s supervision and to complete applicable client screening and credential requirements.
