Speech-Language Pathologist - Contract - Los Altos, CA

Our Client is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a skilled nursing contract in Los Altos, California. Bring a thoughtful, practical approach to rehabilitation and work with the care team to support each resident’s goals.

Your contribution

Assess communication, cognition and swallowing needs within your licensed scope; develop and deliver individualized treatment plans; evaluate progress and document care. Educate residents, families and caregivers, and coordinate recommendations with the interdisciplinary team.

Assignment overview

• Los Altos, California 94024; anticipated 13-week contract. Actual start and remaining term confirmed after clearance.
• Day shifts; exact daily hours, workdays and meal periods are confirmed before offer. The current order lists 36 guaranteed hours, subject to assignment confirmation and applicable exceptions.
• No call or holiday coverage is currently required. Additional overtime is not guaranteed; applicable overtime is paid in addition to the advertised regular hourly rate.
• Local assignment; no housing or travel stipend is included in the hourly range.
• Complete required facility onboarding, credentialing and health/background screening before assigned duties begin.

What you bring

• Speech-language pathology education and professional qualifications appropriate to skilled nursing practice.
• California professional licensure upon acceptance and before practice, with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Facility-required current life-support credentials and readiness to complete client competency and screening requirements.
• Clear communication, reliable documentation and a collaborative, resident-centered approach.

Employment and benefits

This is W-2 employment with Domnovate Healthcare. Paid weekly, each Friday for the prior week’s work. Statutory paid sick leave is provided. Eligible employees may enroll in employer-supported individual medical coverage, subject to eligibility, enrollment deadlines, plan terms and any employee premium contribution. Dental and vision offerings are available for 2027 subject to eligibility and plan terms. Exact coverage and effective dates are reviewed during hiring.

Regular-hours pay: $36.50–$38.00/hour in taxable W-2 wages.*
