Regional Pharmacy Manager - Contract - Newport, OR

Support safe medication care and effective pharmacy operations as a Regional Pharmacy Manager with Our Client in Newport, Oregon. Lead pharmacy teams, coordinate department resources and help improve the quality and efficiency of services.

Your contribution

Plan, organize, direct and evaluate pharmacy department activities, staffing and costs. Support employees, maintain management controls and collaborate with the care team. Prepare and dispense medications, assess patient needs within pharmacist scope, provide drug information and educate patients.

Assignment overview

• Anticipated 13-week contract based in Newport, Oregon. Actual start and remaining term are confirmed after clearance.
• Day shifts, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; no weekends currently listed. Holiday coverage is required.
• The current order lists 40 guaranteed hours per week, subject to assignment terms. Exact workdays, meal periods, regional work locations and any business travel are confirmed before offer.
• Local assignment; the hourly range includes no housing or travel stipend. Applicable overtime is paid separately. Business travel arrangements and expense reimbursement are reviewed before assignment.
• Complete required health/background screening, credentialing, EPIC competency or training and orientation before assigned duties.

What you bring

• Current, unencumbered Oregon pharmacist license.
• Leadership experience and the required pharmacy experience or residency background: an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency; an ASHP-accredited pharmacy-practice residency plus one year of pharmacist experience; two years of pharmacist experience; or one year of leadership plus one year of pharmacist experience.
• The order lists a two-year experience minimum; individual residency and experience eligibility is confirmed during screening.
• Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS.
• Clear communication, careful clinical judgment and the ability to coordinate people, operations and patient care.

For eligible travelers, total compensation may include both taxable W-2 wages and separate travel reimbursements under Domnovate Healthcare’s travel reimbursement policy. Travel reimbursement eligibility and amounts are determined independently based on the employee’s circumstances, assignment location, and applicable reimbursement guidelines.

Regular-hours pay: $60.00–$63.50/hour in taxable W-2 wages.*
