Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Local Night Contract - Sitka, AK

Bring your labor and delivery experience to a night-shift contract with Our Client in Sitka, Alaska. Support mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, recovery and immediate postpartum care while working with a team that values culturally responsive, patient-centered care.

Assignment overview

• Anticipated 13-week W-2 contract through our employer of record, with a tentative November 23, 2026 start, subject to clearance and confirmation.
• Nights, 7 p.m.–7 a.m., on varying nights of the week. The order lists 36 guaranteed hours per week; final paid hours, meal periods and assignment terms are confirmed before offer.
• One opening is currently listed. Holiday coverage is required; on-call duties may be required. Standby, callback and holiday compensation are discussed before an offer.
• Provide obstetric assessment, fetal monitoring, newborn care and emergency response. Float within your qualifications as required.
• Local hourly compensation; this range includes no housing, airfare or travel stipend. Applicable overtime is paid separately.

What you bring

• At least two years of relevant nursing experience and an accredited nursing degree.
• Current, unrestricted Alaska RN license before submission; another state's license alone does not meet this agency assignment requirement.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications, with required specialty competencies and facility-approved credentialing.
• Ability to complete the required ICPA background clearance and fingerprint process. Processing may take three to five weeks after cards are received, so the actual start depends on clearance.
• Meet the assignment's influenza vaccination and employee-health requirements, subject to applicable accommodation review and facility approval.

For eligible travelers, total compensation may include both taxable W-2 wages and separate travel reimbursements under Domnovate Healthcare’s travel reimbursement policy. Travel reimbursement eligibility and amounts are determined independently based on the employee’s circumstances, assignment location, and applicable reimbursement guidelines.

Regular-hours pay: $41.66–$44.00/hour in taxable W-2 wages.*
