Physical Therapist - Days - Cordova, AK

Actual compensation will vary based on the assignment, schedule, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. For eligible travelers, total compensation may include both taxable W-2 wages and separate travel reimbursements under Domnovate Healthcare’s travel reimbursement policy. Travel reimbursement eligibility and amounts are determined independently based on the employee’s circumstances, assignment location, and applicable reimbursement guidelines.

Bring your physical therapy skills to a short day assignment with Our Client in Cordova, Alaska. Provided housing is available for this opportunity, with arrangements confirmed before an offer.

Your assignment

• Approximately four weeks, with a tentative November 30 start and coverage planned through December. Final assignment dates are confirmed before an offer.
• Monday–Friday day schedule, listed as 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Paid hours, meal periods and the final weekly roster are confirmed for the assignment.
• Support outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, including primary physical therapist coverage during the last two weeks of December.
• No call is listed. The department is closed December 25.
• Fully taxable local hourly pay; no travel reimbursement or traveler stipend is included in the advertised hourly range.
• W-2 employment through our employer of record, with applicable overtime and statutory leave. Final benefit eligibility and plan terms are reviewed for the assignment.

The work

Evaluate patients, develop and deliver individualized physical therapy plans, document progress and coordinate rehabilitation care with the clinical team. Help the current physical therapist serve outpatients and inpatients, and provide primary coverage, including new inpatient evaluations, when required.

What you bring

• Current Alaska physical therapist licensure before the assignment and current BLS.
• At least two years of direct patient care experience across varied settings.
• Swing-bed and inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently within physical therapist scope and collaborate across a small clinical team.
• Readiness to complete screening, credential verification, competencies and paid orientation before clinical work. The source uses CPSI/Evident.
