Physical Therapist Assistant - Days - Cordova, AK

Actual compensation will vary based on the assignment, schedule, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. For eligible travelers, total compensation may include both taxable W-2 wages and separate travel reimbursements under Domnovate Healthcare’s travel reimbursement policy. Travel reimbursement eligibility and amounts are determined independently based on the employee’s circumstances, assignment location, and applicable reimbursement guidelines.

Support rehabilitation care with Our Client in Cordova, Alaska, on a Monday–Friday day assignment with provided housing. Choose from two assignment start and duration options, subject to final availability.

Your assignment

• A 13-week option starting November 30, 2026, or an eight-week option starting January 4, 2027. The final dates and term are confirmed before an offer.
• Monday–Friday, listed as 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Paid hours, meal periods and the final weekly roster are confirmed for the assignment.
• Care may include outpatient, inpatient, swing-bed and long-term care settings.
• Housing is provided, with arrangements confirmed before an offer. No call or holiday coverage is listed; the department is closed December 25, January 1 and February 15.
• Fully taxable local hourly pay; no travel reimbursement or traveler stipend is included in the advertised hourly range.
• W-2 employment through our employer of record, with applicable overtime and statutory leave. Final benefit eligibility and plan terms are reviewed for the assignment.

The work

Deliver physical therapy treatments within your licensed assistant scope under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist. Follow established treatment plans, document patient response, help patients practice therapeutic exercises and mobility tasks, and communicate progress and concerns to the supervising therapist and care team.

What you bring

• Current Alaska physical therapist assistant licensure before the assignment and current BLS.
• At least two years of direct patient care experience across varied settings.
• Swing-bed, inpatient and long-term care rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with the supervising physical therapist and a small interdisciplinary team while maintaining clear documentation.
• Readiness to complete screening, credential verification, competencies and paid orientation before clinical work. The source uses CPSI/Evident.
