Our Client is seeking a Physical Therapist for an on-site local contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Bring thoughtful clinical judgment to skilled nursing rehabilitation that connects individualized recovery with practical daily goals.

Your contribution

Evaluate mobility and functional needs, establish individualized treatment goals and deliver physical therapy within your professional scope. Use therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training and functional movement strategies to help people build strength, confidence and independence. Reassess progress, adapt care plans and teach patients and caregivers techniques that support safe participation.

Collaborate with the rehabilitation and care team, communicate changes clearly and document evaluations, treatment and progress accurately. Respect each person’s abilities, priorities and dignity while following professional standards and safety practices.

Assignment and schedule

• Local contract; no traveler stipend.
• Source dates: November 30, 2026–February 27, 2027, approximately 13 weeks. Actual start and remaining duration confirmed before offer.
• Day-shift window: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a source-listed 30-minute meal period.
• The source lists a 40-hour weekly guarantee, subject to attendance and assignment terms. Weekday and weekend coverage may apply; the actual weekly pattern, paid hours, meal arrangements and overtime terms will be confirmed before offer. This does not promise seven workdays each week.

What you bring

• Massachusetts Physical Therapy licensure or eligibility, with required authorization completed before practice.
• A qualifying Physical Therapy degree and clinical qualifications appropriate to practice. The primary employer lists a master’s in PT, a related master’s plus a bachelor’s in PT, or a bachelor’s in PT plus five years of progressively responsible PT experience; qualifying degrees earned outside the U.S. require U.S. equivalency evaluation.
• Sound clinical reasoning, clear communication and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to complete applicable screening, credentialing, orientation and client requirements.
