Adolescent Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Days - Lewiston, ME

Support children, adolescents and their families through a 13-week day-shift psychiatric nursing assignment with Our Client in Lewiston, Maine.

Your assignment

• Day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., three 12-hour shifts per week. The 36-hour schedule is a planning basis; hours are not guaranteed.
• Target start November 23, 2026, subject to screening, credential clearance and final assignment confirmation.
• Travel assignment for nurses residing more than 50 miles from the facility. Our Client may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week assignment.
• No call is listed.
• W-2 employment through our employer of record, with applicable overtime and statutory leave.

The work

Use assessment, clinical judgment and clear communication to deliver direct and indirect nursing care in an adolescent psychiatric setting. Develop and update plans of care, recognize changes in condition, delegate appropriate interventions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Help maintain a safe therapeutic environment while educating patients and families and supporting coordinated, compassionate care.

What you bring

• An active Maine RN license and graduation from an approved nursing program.
• At least three years of RN experience. Experience caring for children and adolescents is preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Basic dysrhythmia and CPI training, or readiness to complete them before orientation ends.
• Calm communication, supportive teamwork and the ability to work well in high-stress situations.
• Readiness to complete screening, credential verification, competencies and required paid orientation.
