Emergency Department RN - Night Contract - Sitka, AK

Bring your emergency nursing experience to a night-shift assignment with Our Client in Sitka, Alaska. Assess patients of all ages, respond to urgent changes and help deliver calm, coordinated care when it matters most.

Your assignment

• 13-week W-2 contract through our employer of record, with one opening currently listed.
• Three 12-hour night shifts per week. The source lists 36 guaranteed weekly hours, subject to confirmed assignment terms and the final schedule.
• Target start December 21, 2026, subject to clearance and confirmation.
• Applicable daily and weekly overtime is paid separately from the regular-hours range. Holiday coverage is required; no scheduled call is listed.
• This is a local hourly range without a housing allowance or travel stipend. The facility does not provide housing or transportation.

The work

Assess, stabilize and care for emergency patients across the lifespan. Use clinical judgment to identify changes in condition, administer ordered treatments, support emergency procedures and coordinate with providers and the care team. Educate patients and families, document accurately and help maintain a safe, culturally responsive care environment.

What you bring

• At least one year of emergency department RN experience.
• A current, unrestricted Alaska RN license at the time of submission and the nursing education required for that license.
• Current BLS/BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, plus assignment-specific competencies.
• Strong assessment, communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in urgent situations.
• Readiness to complete fingerprint-based screening, credentialing and required paid orientation. The confirmed start depends on clearance.
